Mrs. Belinda Odeneye has decades of experience in both the Public Service as an astute Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional, who has served in the Federal Ministry of Works & Housing, FEPA, LASEPA, Lagos State Safety Commission, and lastly, Lagos State Ministry of the Environment where she reached the height of her career in the public sector when she was sworn in on August 19, 2019, as the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of The Environment and Water Resources (Office of Environmental Services) and subsequently retired in January 2022.
She is a passionate lover of the environment and safety expert who creates opportunities for a mindset change through information, instruction, supervision, and training.
She is the author of “Living Lightly on Earth”, a book that reminds us and generations to come of the implication(s) of our actions and/or inactions on best sustainable practices that are environmentally friendly, revealing the continuous acts of individuals, societies, and nations that had impacted immensely on the earth and conclusively stated vehemently the ways to living lightly on earth daily, indoors and outdoors.
